Mad Hats at the Tea Party

17 11 2011

Our Anywhere Cinema pre-movie potlucks are almost as much fun as the films themselves. For the potluck at the November 12th event (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”) at Urban Bazaar, we gathered around a long low table that made us feel like adults as a children’s tea party. When attendee John put on a wacky colorful clown-ish hat, somebody remarked “This feels like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!” It was a curious but fitting observation.

Continuing our run of enjoying events too much to take photos, we don’t have any real pics from the event. So let the above picture spark your imagination enough to join us at the December 10th event at Everybody Bikes for the potluck before settling down for the classic “Scrooged”.

It isn’t through the benevolence from the butcher, the brewer, or perhaps the baker that people expect our dinner, but from other regard to their own interest.
