2011 is closing up and so is Anywhere Cinema Season 2. So, we’re taking a break for a while to relax, celebrate this great experience so far, and to mull over what might come next from our wonderful movie kit.
As much as we had a great time in 2011, we feel like we’ve only scratched the surface of Anywhere Cinema’s potential, both in terms of doing interesting things with the equipment and in terms of using it to build community. So, join us next year to see what happens. We’re always looking for new enthusiastic folks to help with events and steward the idea so contact us if you’d like to get involved.
This is community equipment, so if you are putting on any kind of event that’s open to the public, you are welcome and encouraged to borrow the AC kit. Get in touch if you’d like to.
Thank you to everybody who supported us in Anywhere Cinema’s first year – some of you donated money to fund the equipment, helped generate ideas and set up at events, and/or showed up to join in.
